A new app called SoundPrint allows users to record their surroundings and measure if they are in danger of harming their hearing. The app is making its way into different cities, Toronto being among the first outside of the States. So far, the data shows 72 per cent of the venues in Toronto are too loud for conversation, and 48 per cent potentially endanger the hearing health of patrons and employees.
